Jan. 15, 2016, TORONTO – Thanks to an incredible display of generosity from donors and corporate partners and the heartfelt dedication of some very special volunteers and staff, Make-A-Wish® Canada is pleased to announce that it has granted 6,281 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions since inception in 1983.
Jasmine looks like any typical and happy Grade 2 student. However at just 18 months old, she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Her days are consumed with chest clapping, oxygen masks, antibiotics an enzyme medications. But at 6 years old, that doesn't stop her from enjoying the things she loves most -- watching cartoons, playing board games and watching movies that involve gorrillas -- a creature she loves most.
